Here is the first of 5 mechanical pieces. Its about 22″ tall and has a small bead attached to the base which you can move to make the demon in the jar jump up and down.

As most of you know I collaborated with sculptor Des Smith on some 3 dimensional pieces this past winter. They are either in lovely peoples homes already or a couple are still in Simple Gallery in Gstaad Switzerland. Below are a few details in case you missed them.
We have together decided to make an edition of 6, of one sculpture that we did not release last winter. She is about 6 inches tall, plaster and hand painted. Â Each one will have a different stand and different color dress. They will sell for 350.00! We have had fun working together and have learned a lot from one another. Â Thanks for visiting.
I made a book. It was originally intended to have some of my paintings along with poems which are written on the backs of some of my painting which I covered with brown paper upon framing . I decided that the people who own these paintings should get to read the poems which are on the backs, but covered. However while going through the poems in my notebooks, I decided that some are much too much  to have published. Still I put in some and found other words, prose, in my notebooks next to the sketches of the paintings which I also I put in. In the book you will also find words i like to say and words i don’t like to say. All the things I have ever done, up until last december are also listed in the book.    My hopes aside from letting people who own said paintings see their  poems, is to move past all the sadness that once kept me prisoner in my own house, in my art room, in my head. I am ready to be new, to be better.  I do not feel the same. I am ready for anything and I want it all.
I would like to thank Raymers Book bindery and a handful of other people, you know who you are, for helping me to get this book together. I have printed an edition of 50 and have around 20 or so left. You can purchase them from my Gallery in Gstaad or contact me directly. I have decided to let my my webpage go away and try to be more current with a shiny new blog. My hope is that I will communicate more with you all and  be able to more easily share what is going on in my studio. But first a few older paintings to get started.
